@kei I've heard it's healthier to only wash your hair every other day or ever couple days because the oil getting washed out every day can make the hair dry and brittle. πŸ’

SpaceChem is like doing homework for fun.

Over 100 hours in Grim Dawn and I feel like I'm just now starting to get it.

Every time I feel confused about life, I listen to this song. And not just because it's about doing a ton of drugs.

@Niidles Do we even need ears? I'm skeptical. πŸ™ƒ

Also I have some anxieties about leaving my home too so it's encouraging to hear about your experiences. Keep going for walks! Keep petting cat strangers!

@Niidles That sounds like a really nice walk!

@einahpets "I'm excited about the idea of Mastodon, as it seems closer to the internet I enjoyed when I was a younger adult."

You just perfectly captured why I'm enjoying Mastodon.

Me in college: Why do people get puking drunk every night? Don't they associate the next day's discomfort with the previous night's decision?

Me, every morning for the last month: Holy shit, I'm going to die. Staying up late last night playing video games was a huge mistake.

@yonah The greatest thing a DM ever did for me in a game is see what I was trying to do with my character and then gave me lots of opportunities to do it, and made sure the world reacted to and acknowledge it.

@yonah It's a bit like Twitter, though the different instances form little subcommunities in a way that doesn't have an analogue on Twitter. Just toot things you think are interesting - thoughts, links, pictures - and engage with other people you see on the timelines that are saying interesting things. I'd say avoid picking fights too, but that's a personal preference.

@yonah Sup Yonah. I also like D&D and video games (and I used to be interested in conlang when I studied linguitics in college).

I have no tips or recommendations, I just started messing around with it yesterday.

@Antanicus @pnathan It really seems more and more like violence is the only way to create this kind of change, but it doesn't seem like we've hit the kind of flashpoint that would trigger it. It's just this slow grinding down.
